I have been having problems getting into and out of reverse. Started after tracking the car at Daytona last weekend. I came off the track and it would pop out of reverse. When i get into reverse, can feel it pull further in, it is difficult to get out of gear, have to kinda hit the shifter. All forward gears, 1-6 ok.
Any transmission guys can let me know what i am in for?

i had a similiar problem, but all i had to do, was change the tranny fluid.

 

i had reverse being more difficult than 1-6 previously. eventually the other gears got worse as my clutch master cylinder was leaking. anyways, in my car reverse has always been a less clean shift than any other gear choice...

 

Does it still engage reverse and the 6 forward gears?

 

It engages all gears just reverse will pop out. I change the fluid after all events and this time it was dirty gray. My clutch is getting old 55k miles and i havn't changed the clutch fluid in awhile either. I think i'll replace the clutch and have the trans inspected then.
