transmission

unusal prob. gear selection has become easier almost sloppy. i would think as the trans fluid ages shifting would become harder. any ideas would be appreciated

How sloppy we talkin' here? Is it sloppy when the shifter is in neutral? When you slide it into gear?

it slides into each gear easier than it used to 7000 miles ago. guess that is not a real problem?

Only if you can't get into gear, or there's grinding, and the shifter itself has a lot of slop. Otherwise you've got what we all want.
