Hi guys and girls,

well, i just took my car in to Honda last Tuesday to have them inspect my transmission. The outcome is that I need a new clutch set, along with the clutch fork, hanger, spring, and throwout bearing, getting done this coming Tuesday. I'm really unsure of my diff being bad or not. I bought my car used with 56k on it. I changed my diff fluid at about 83k, and it was pretty dark. I did find some metal shavings at the drain bolt, but my uncle told me its ok.

so my question is, how can i test to see if the rear differential is shot or not?

oh i forgot, there is also a weird whine, while i'm in gear's 1, 2, and 3.
