I had this problem on my 2005 as well. The problem was the transmission input shaft seal. Leaking MTF looks just like motor oil so its hard to tell the diference between the two and it'll leak out the same spot. To narrow it down, you can add a bit of dye to your tranny oil and if the leaking oil glows under the special light, you know where its coming from.
^thanks for the pics s2kenc. I felt the oil as well as smelled it and I'm 90% sure it was engine oil. The dye sounds like a great idea but I'm taking to the dealership tomorrow so hopefully they will find what it is and cover it...I mean 2 months out of warranty isn't THAT out of the question is it
Update:
It turns out I had less than a week left on my factory warranty....talk about timing. I took it to Nalley Honda Wed morning and they called that afternoon and said they would have two seals replaced by Thursday afternoon, thats some faaaast service. I will keep you guys updated on what they replaced and if the leak comes back. Thanks guys for the input.
For future reference, MTF smells like a dieing baby sho crapped its pants after eating burritos. Well, maybe not exactally like that, but it smells bad where as motor oil doesnt hurt my nostrils.

Same leak and location for me... mine turned out to be some spilled oil down the back of the block when I added a quart.
On a side note... with the transmission out of the way to replace your seal... did you ever think to replace clutch and flywheel with some go fast goodies? Most Honda's will do it for free (they have to take the clutch and flywheel off anyways).
my trans started leaking at about the same mileage but it happened a day after a changed my trans fluid, and i always over fill it a bit and i also used the supposedly "new" trans fluid with the green lable and white cap. eventually the leak went away and i have done a trans fluid change again and i let it drain from the fill hole until i was just slightly over filled. still didnt leak so i havent addressed the issue since about 6 months ago.

I was thinking of that but I didn't have time to research and order and upgraded clutch kits or flywheels. I also didn't know if they cared about putting in non-OEM parts in a car they were fixing under warranty....I thought that usually didn't fly since that would most likely cause my warranty to be voided. I also didn't thing about putting in a new OEM friction disk since the transmission has 25k miles on it....kind of pointless.
I talked to the service manager and he said they replaced the tranny input seal...I was alsmot 100% positive that it was engine oil leaking. I smelled it and it was no doubt engine oil, I also thought Tranny fluid had a pungent smell, at least thats what I remember from changing the tranny fluids. Oh well I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I pick up my car.

Well I would have checked the fill of the transmission fluid but I changed fluids almost 8k miles ago and that was 6+ months ago so I figured if it would have leaked it would have done it before from overfill.
