Pull the speed pin out of the last connector en route to the EPS and see what happens. From the sound of things you will probably get a fault code but it may work to increase your steering assistance. If it works (and you are happy living with a flashing EPS light) put a hidden switch you can use when drifting or whatever.

Other wise, the speed limiter defeat gadget would be the go, whether its worth the effort will depend on how important modifying the steering assistance is to you.

Dont be afraid to play with stuff, its amazing how sometimes you get something that does what you want.

pretty sure that would turn off the EPS , as in no assist at all
