Default Trouble with Cold start?

So I left my car outside while at work today in probably what was sub 30'c temps. When I came back at night to start it, the engine had a hard time getting started. It evenually didn't start, and I had to redo at which point it was all normal.

Does this ever happen to any of you winter drivers?

T hanks,

My car will sometimes act like it's not going to start, and then start. As weird as that sounds, when it's cold, the car will start to turn over...then start...then almost shut down and then start. My three friends that have S2K's have the same problem.

on very cold mornings (lately) my car stalls on the first try starting it it's usually accompanied by a noisy squeal from what i believe is the serpentine belt.

If you're on your original battery, consider replacing it if the starter is slow to crank. Get a battery with enough CCA (cold cranking amps) and don't mess around with the little Hawker batteries if you're in a cold climate.
