Default Trouble reinstalling OEM header. Any tips?

I parted out my turbo and need to put the oem header back on. I am having a bitch of a time getting the header back up in there. It's getting stuck between the engine mount and trans. I have done this before but never remember this kind of trouble. Any tips would be sweet!

Best way is too remove the mount, slide the header in and then put the mount back in.

same. i have installed a header, i mean i taken out and installed another headers in 50 minutes. what i did was lift the car as high as i could. i mean i had 2 jack stands 4 2x4. i angled the header with the primaries 1 up and 4 down. and i had the header twisted with the out let on the driver side. with the combination of angling and twisting it goes in easy for me. no removing mounts involved.

Thanks guys. I will try jacking the car higher and if that doesn't work, I will go for the motor mount.

You do not need to remove a motor mount to install the OEM header. The car needs to be high enough to get the header in from the bottom. You'll just have to keep moving the header until all the studs line up.

When I installed my Berk, I found that removing the heat shields gave me more room to install it without banging/scratching everything up. Removing the stock header was not a problem. A set of hands up top to help guide it and finding the right angle would make short work of it.
