Default Trunk doesn't open via FOB key

Today my trunk release stopped working off my FOB key. The trunk pops open just fine using the glove compartment trunk release and by inserting the key in to the trunk. But it stopped working when i hold down the trunk release, all I hear is a clicking noise from under the steering wheel. I checked all the fuses, couldn't seem to find the right fuse that may be causing the problem. My door lock. unlock still works off my fob with no problem, but when I press the trunk release on the fob I hear clicking.

Any ideas?

hmm it's not that hot here in Omaha, I wonder what the problem is. I don't have an aftermarket alarm, do you?

Its probably your trunk actuator, may have gone out.
