Went to close my trunk today and it wouldn't latch, I tried to adjust it and was able to get it to hold by bringing the striker all the way up.

I'm pretty sure I need a latch, has anyone seen one go bad before? I checked Majestic and they don't list it..any other online sources?

Have you asked Billman250? He might have a spare.

 

Just looked, Majestic DOES list it. What year is your car? They have one parts diagram, apparently the latches are different between AP1's and AP2's so maybe you were looking up the wrong number.

 

I have an 02. I found the exploded view of the trunk, it is part number 11, but part 11 is not listed in the price area.

 

Like I said, you were looking at the wrong number. It's part #28, not #11

 

Thanks for pointing that out Jordan, missed that one.. now I just need to figure out if I need the latch or if I can repair this one!
