trunk problems
Does anyone know what fuse under the dash is for the trunk release. I left the car out in the hard rain for a few days. Now the trunk doest open. I shaved the key hole so using the key us not an option.

Wow we recently had a thread about the hood not opening now we have one for the trunk!
So all fuses are fine, trunk solenoid clicks fine and no key hole to open with key.
Here's what i suggest:
* Remove the driver seat
* Remove the driver rear plastic panel (The one right below the roll hoop)
* Using a flash light and a piece of straight coat hanger wire, try to reach for the internal safety release lever. You know the one that is there so you cant lock a person in your trunk.
Thats all I can think of. Either the cable broke or the latch froze or got stuck some how.
Anyone else have any ideas?
