Default Try to install DRL

I saw someone's write up with the Hamsar 45060

But, Only Hamsar I could get is #70987

Can you guys take a quick look if this is going to work?

#70987

If so, according to the instruction, why do I wrap the green wire around spark plug wire?

And where is the best location for the ground parking light?

Hi there.

This is the guy who wrote the original writeup. You can indeed get the proper hamsar (45060) module. There is a carquest auto parts store in Ontario that is located right next to the hamsar plant. I have a friend who just arranged to get one of these modules from this Carquest store.

Go back to that original web writeup, and look in the 'forum' section. You'll see a post where someone describes how to call this place and get your module.

So the 70987 one wouldn't work??
I called several places and they told me that it takes about 3 weeks to get them, cuz the company don't have them in stock.
I can't wait for 3 weeks to to get the DRL..

Is there any other way to do it?
I don't have to have them working propertly for now, I just need headlight or park lights on when I turn the ignition on.
