Hello,

I just received my 9500ix and also have the direct wire smartcord. Can anyone guide me on how to install the hard wire into the fuse panel? The end of the cord is not a fuse style plug. Do I need to purchase an accessory fuse plug and crimp the cord onto it?

There are several ways to install and none of them are unique to the 9500ix. You can wire to the accessory tap at the fusebox. If you don't have the proper spade connector you can connect one. You can also use an Add-A-Circuit.
