Default Trying EPS Reset But Light Keeps Flashing

Got the #4 shorted to #9, turn key to on with wheel at 45 degrees as per instructions however the EPS light has one long flash then 4 short flashes, then one long flash then another long flash then 4 short flashes, and keeps repeating. Even if I move the wheel it keeps flashing that sequence, if I take the shunt out and start the car, the EPS light goes off as normal. Any ideas? Thanks

You're probably not doing it right or your timing is off.

Can I ask why you guys want to reset it? From what I know, you need a PGM tester to perform this function properly.. Well no one has ever proved to have reset it via the method listed above anyway..

Who knows, I wish someone can prove me wrong.

Peace.

Let me be the first to prove you wrong.

You can do it with out a PGM tester. It has been posted numerous times. By others, and by me.

The instructions are documented in the helms manual.

You didn't perform all the steps. Plus your supposed to start out with wheels straight first. Then short the SCS.
