Default TSB Help

My warranty is out since its a 01 and I talked to the dealership where I bought it to get the TSB54 done. I have an extended warranty through Honda. They told me they would charge me $99 to look at it and see what the problem is, but the noise is intermittent. Any advice for me? I don't want to have to take it in, pay the money and the noise not be there and be stuck with a bill.

Many dealers will do this. Mine gave me the same deal...

They are investing hour of labor to diagnose. If it is the problem, you don't have to pay. If it is not the problem, you're out the hour.

If they do hear the buzzing, does the warranty pay for a loaner car do you know? I guess I will have to hope the sound is there when they test drive it. But that buzzing is intermittent.
