Default Turbo back to stock

I believe that i am taking my turbo set up off along with my aem standalone and putting it back to stock with an ecu. Is their anything that i should worry about by doing this?

if its done right, nope !! make sure your using the ecu that is matched to your key !

how about if the ecu is different from my key? because the ecu i would be using comes from a different car..

you would HAVE to get it reprogrammed to match the key, US spec cars have an imbilizer.....if you dont do it the car will NOT start. sorry for yelling

Yup, take it to a dealer and they should be able to either program your key for ecu or vice versa.

Oh alright.. Do you guys know about how much that would cost? Also would i just take them my key and just the ecu or what?? i mean the ecu is small and the key is just normal so how would that work?

IIRC the key's code is added to to the ECU. They might have to do it with the ECU in the car but I'm not 100% sure on that. The biggest concern for the dealer would probably be to make sure you didn't steal the anything.

i wonder what would be the best way to go about things then.. i mean i will have a receipt from a shop showing i bought it; if i go with them.. But i mean i guess the best thing would be just to call and see what they say.. any one else have any more info on this

All i can say is that a car never goes back to how it should be when a turbo set up is removed unless it's extremely well retuned. Good luck
