Default Turbo Help/Question.

I've finally went to bring my car in to see why i was boost spiking. Boost Spiking was fixed i'm running off the HKS wastegate (7.3psi) spring. Now here is the problem still that I thought was boost spike. As i'm going WOT (wide open throttle) all the way to 6000 rpms on UP, I have this serious hesitation that it seems like my car is dying. My CEL blinks, and then goes solid. I don't what the CEL is or what code it's throwing. I will find out soon. Now IF i don't go WOT i can pass 6000 rpms without that problem. Does anyone know what kind of problem this is? Any help is appreciated.
