Default Twisting feeling when i get on gas

Hey guys,
I went to go test drive an S2000 the other day at the dealership. After a few days i wanted to get a second impression but that one had been sold. So the only one left was a used one. I believe it was a 03. Anyways... when i got the car on the highway and i got on the gas a little bit the car seemed to want to really wander to one side, if i used the steering wheel to correct; the car would drive straight again. But the problem with that is if i let go of the gas without letting go of the steering, the car would wonder in the opposite direction. When i say wonder, i dont mean anything subtle either. I could actually change lanes with the gas pedal in this car.

The car felt like the entire frame would twist in one direction from the torque.

Not only that... but the previous owner put one of those banana air fresheners in the car. Made it smell like a taxi cab.

Any idea what was wrong with that one? Is that a common issue with S2000;s?

check tire pressure
could be uneven tire pressure or alignment.

I would, but it's not my car. lol, it was at a honda dealer as a used car.

Is it something as simple as that? tire pressure or alignment? not something as serious as frame damage or something? or a loose frame?

could be as simple as tire pressure or alignment
could also be something serious like bent suspension etc

So if you are serious about buying that car I would have the dealer double check on tire pressure and alignment first, then if the problem persists I would suspect something is wrong.

sounds like the pressure in one of the rear tires is off, if its way off, it might have a slow leak

Yea, i was only asking because i was curious. A new one is within my price range though. So i'm not too worried. But i was asking because i didn't want something like that to end up being a problem later on down the road.

I'd tell the dealer anyway, just so they can look at it and get it fixed for the next person who takes it for a spin.
