First question: Is someone capable of creating a variable size pulley? For example, an inner ring that holds several pins, and when the pulley increases speed, the pins push out the plates that would be the outer ring of the pulley. This way, when at low rpm, it would be a reasonably small pulley, but as rpm's increase, the pulley diameter would increase allowing the boost to stay under a safe level? Don't flame me, I'm just thinking out loud.

Second Question: Does anyone have a soundclip of the Vortech's BOV? I'm curious to hear how it sounds in comparison to a turbo BOV. Same sound, volume, etc?

Thanks for any help.

Jason

I cant answer #1, but #2 I would have to say my friend has a gsx exclipse and he runs 16lbs of boost and has a turbo xs bov, and his is way louder than mine. The vortech one sounds more like a whistle (ttsssss) and his turbo xs one sounds more like pshhh sound. I dont know if that is cuz he is running double the boost or what. Also I guess it doesn't help that I have one of the loudest exhausts on the market so I can harly hear it anyway.
