u joints?
Hey all, i have a issue with my car. it's a sqeaking or rattling on the rear end. my buddy said it sounds like a u-joint issue off of the drive shaft. someone else to me that s2000's dont have u joints. its an 2002. any help with this would be awsome.
it only makes this noise at low speeds. nothing when i drive at first then about 20-30min later it starts. in gear or neutral. seems to be a metalic grinding sound rotating. increases with speed and decreases also. makes the noise when i let off the gas like it clunks then squeaks.

man i think i have this problem too, weird how when i have a problem someone else does at the same time too
but mine is pretty similar to yours, like a squeaking/high pitched rubbing. happens mainly while im slowing down under 25mph to a stop after about 20mins of driving. it decreases as the car slows down and sometimes could hear it when i let off the throttle. ive had someone listen while i was rolling in my driveway and sounds as if its coming from the left rear wheel. how about yours OP?
anyone have any opinions? could it be the axle? driveshaft?
