Your front will just be a bit smaller - you could get it if you want the msot out of your tires but it shouldnt really affect your ride too much- probably much less than your drop springs (since you mention youre dropped).

The stock AP1 and AP2 tires are roughly the same size (diameter)

I personally prefer the AP1 style, but hey, a lot of people like teh ap2 so whatever floats your boat I think im weird in that way

If you recently dropped the car and haven't had it aligned since, then you should get an alignment.

225/50/16? wow, thats a bit thick of a side wall. I wouldn't go thicker than 45 in the front. Preferably 40 aside from additional feed back, the response would be much better. Your loss would be the nice road cushion of your 225/50 but hey, I don't think road cushion and S2000 should be in the same paragraph.

Your alignment should cater to how you drive your car and how OFTEN your drive your car. Is it a track car? Spirited back road runs? Drive around town on highways, daily driver, etc. Be more subtle with your alignment numbers if you daily drive the car so, as the aforementioned, you get more out of your tires. But if its a weekend only fun car and you don't drive it long distances, do with your alignment as you please :-).
