ok so i got my vafc tuned it runs fine i only netted about 6hp... but the only problem im having is if i drive the car some what hard before it is at least almost halfway warmed i get a check engine light then the car wont rev about 3k and wants to die but if i reset ecu it doesnt come back unless i replicate the same not warm conditions. But when the car is fully warm no probs at all any ideas?? im takeing it back next week but im just curious

 

How about waiting till the car warms up to run it hard...?

check for loose harness wires. I had a couple with my boomslang harness. VTEC wire and another were loose. I just pushed on them alittle and re-installed the harness and no issues since.

did you pull the code to see what is was?

i got a check engine light when i installed my AFC Neo. the code was vtec unmatch. i had vtec set at 5k and would get the code when i'm on light throttle going into vtec. i set vtec crossover at 5700 now base on dyno tuned and no more check engine.
