I can't elaborate on the tuning, since i wasn't there 
I dropped it off at a trusted dyno shop and let them go at it. They've done several in the past.
After driving, the most noticeable difference is the smooth power delivery. The VTEC transition was smoothed out a lot. I was going full throttle in 1st gear around turns and the car wasn't upset nearly as much as before when I go VTEC.
