Default VAFC Questions

Just got my VAFC and harness today and hope to install this weekend. What a crappy manual. Has there been any discussion on the initial setup of this piece of equipment?

Not much, but:

The manual is actually "right." Not terribly informative (and some Engrish) but all the info and how to set it up is there.

Take it to a tuner. They will set it up for you and dyno/tune your car for you. If you don't know what the settings mean, don't mess with them... you could fry your engine.

the vfac library is very informative.....i was able to install and program mine in under two hours.....wow what a difference.
much smoother and really pulls in vtec. I found several members with the same mods and they almost had identical tuner numbers.
vtec engagement is much smoother. Any problems p.m. me i just did mine yesterday 7/16/02. The harness is very bulky i had some problem fitting it behing the kick board on the driver side.
