At 8k? Im sorry but outside of a few oil changes I would not even think about going under the hood.. Why would you possibly do this other than to support honda's dealers?

Can someone please point me where in my manuals I can find the recommended intervals? Since making this mistake, I've been looking for the intervals in owners manual, service manual etc and I can't find it anywhere. I know I can find it here, but I want to show the dealer that this was not yet indicated.
Any help where I can find this 100K would be appreciated.

Check the maintenance schedule portion of your service manual (it in the earlier pages). Valve adjustment is at 100k according to service manual iirc, and then "adjust only if noisy" after that.

I checked, still can't find it... Is it in the top book or in the bottom book in my picture

It looks like the Maintenance Minder system took the place of their standardized service schedule... Here is an excerpt from a 2004 AP2 manual (pages 123/124 have the service schedule on it.)

Charliec, thank you veery much! This is exactly what I was looking for. You're right, in my 2008 manual, this info does not exist. It's replaced by the mainance minder. I appreciate the link to the schedule.
Now I need to find a competent mechanic, I posted on my local forum, no one has responded with a recommendation yet...
