BTW, don't critique the valve's clatter when the car is cold... only after it's warmed up.

When cold, the motor even kind of shakes, it never did that before, I think it's time to take it in to the dealer for valve work...

Many cars were mal-adjusted from the factory. If not, you will likely see little change in the adjustment and even more likely little improvement by adjusting them.
If you want to see a "difference," tighten the clearance by .002." The increase in lift and duration is noticeable, and the characteristic Honda "tick" is quieted significantly.
