Default Valve noise after valve adjustment

Hi, I need some help here. I just finish my first valve adjustment. However at normal operating temperature, the valve noise seem to be noisier than before. I have a sound clip below. I would really like your expert opinion here. Does it sound ok? Should I re-do the valve adjustment?

I also changed a new set of OEM spark plugs.

Thanks in advance!

Were the valves tight, prior to adjustment?

Yes, exhaust valves were all too tight. Intake side was ok, only needed to adjust on 2 of them.

Exhaust valves were set to Billman recommended 0.11. Intake side 0.09

Car is an 2007 AP2, 50700 miles

Extra noise maybe those valves, loosen to 0.011 inch. Right? Not 0.11 inch. My 2007 had tight exhaust valves, too. And one tight intake. None were loose.

I did exhaust at 0.011 inch. And intake to 0.010 inch. Made engine a bit noisier at idle. But, runs much better throughout RPM range.

Typo. Yes loosen to 0.011 inch. Just double checked the feeler gauge I pulled out.

So wind, does your engine sound similar to mine? Or did I mess up on the adjustment too much?

Sounds pretty normal IMHO.

How is the car running like? Mine noticeably smoothed out the acceleration from 5K to redline --- after the valve adjustment. Idles very nice at steady 900 RPM.

Sounds fine to me, it has that slight sewing machine noise. You should hear the valve train but just barely, rather it be a hair noisy than not noisy at all(too tight).

I haven't really get on it after the valve adjustment, and only had a short drive to warm up the car. Mostly staying below 5K RPM. So I couldn't feel to much of a difference than before. The idle was about the same, around 1K RPM.

I could hear the valvetrain very faintly even in the car, with windows/top up and no radio. Is this too much?
