VErsion 2 Toda cams
It's your cam alignment. When I put in my TODA cams I lost 10hp and we couldn't figure out why. Make sure your installer referenced the install sheets TODA sends with the cams or e-mails. It says the following:
"There is approximately 3 degrees of play within the keyway of the camshafts and cam gears. When installing the Inlet camshaft use the timing marks providied, making sure the cam is at the retarded position by removing any play within the keyway and cam gears.
For the exhaust cam the advanced position is recommended using the same proceedure.
After this, I gained 8hp at the topend over stock.

Update:
Called TODA up today. Made them talk to my shop guys. Alignment of the cams were correct. TODA had given the shop new specs for the valve clearance/settings. Their thinking is that there maybe overlap at the higher RPM....

Too bad you cant get a combo Toda/Stock Honda cam. Toda low cam (up to 6000) then Honda top cam (above 6 k).
that way you wouldn't lose your 20 hp top end, but would still get more low end.

Sounds the same but pulls like crazy....I have a knn air filter.... I'm way too careless for a CAI and you should definitely see the roads in PA. We have pot holes as big as babies . You know there are known cases of babies disappearing in pot holes.

No.....This is what I intend to do.....we are trying the new settings tomorrow, The car will be dyno tuned... If the results are good. I will post the new settings and new HP and if I can find a scanner, the baseline, current HP curve and after fix HP curve will also be posted.
If not I will call up TODA and reiterate.
Damn you would think cams are pretty straight forward...So for now, all we can do is wait till tomorrow.....
