you need to post up the dyno for me to check out.

how did they set the cam gears?

do you have cam gears?

did the shop you take it to have experience with installing cams in honda heads?

sounds like they didnt even know how to install the valve springs, which does not sound to re-assuring.

if anyone needs to rent out the valve spring compressor, I have the snap on one that uses the 2 big endplates with a rod that goes through the middle than a big handle to compress the spring down

who did you get your toda cams from?

the original dealer should help out in some ways to figuringout why you lost top end power

something is not right with the way your car is setup right now

Guys,
bad news... my car still looses HP on the top end, the installer actually took out the TODA and reinstalled it with step by step directions from someone in TODA through the phone. still no power gain.... I am trying to find out from TODA what is going on... I wil update everyone..

Nate good luck... if you do get gains please let me know what you did different....
this sucks

At this point I really think its the cams... I am confident that Tony ( my shop guy) is very competent in what he does.

FYI,
TODA claims that someone from this site sent them a nasty email.... Now now children play nice... I'm sure they wouldn't sell $1800 cams if it wasn't worth it or would they?????...

oh man, and I thought my posting in s2000 talk last week was bad. This is just embarrasing. I'd be willing to bet the person who emailed hasn't spent a dime on Toda products.

People,
I have been talking to TODA, Allen has been very helpful. They have requested that I provide them with my dyno sheets. I will fax them the info.
Interestingly, Allen also had mentioned that their test car gained at least 10HP top end. The car had toda headers and a mugen exhaust, drop in air filter and a TB and some vafc tuning. There still might be hope.....
