No, just the stock ECU.
I don't get why people are running rich... with the increased lift and duration we're getting more air, right? More air without fuel = lean, no?

Btw, those gears are going to be a PITA to adjust. Valve cover on, valve cover off, wax on, wax off.....

Way back when I first dynoed my car with the cams, the A/F was very lean.... at the point it hit Vtec (5700 RPM) the A/F was about 15.1 :1. This was fixed with the VAFC.....

I put the cams in myself, and they're were no "3degs of play" between the cams and the keyhole. Hell, they're weren't even 1/4deg...they were even tighter than stock!

Speeding im not sure if a fuel pressure regulator is going to help your situation much. Id go with a VAFC 2 or something more advanced and head off to a good dyno shop. DSR in San Jose does a good job of tuning the VAFC, they average around a 10hp gain with the most ive seen around 15hp.

Matt,
I think this is what Prolone uses with his Mugen ECU. It should be fine....
