Hey finally after all these months of having the spec 2 laying at the shop I am going to get them installed along with the titanium valve springs... Is there any new info that you guys have learned either through toda or self experience by doing the install that I should know about? After hearing all these semi-negative things about the cams losing quiet a bit of top end and just over all complaints I backed off even after I bought them but now I am going to go ahead with the install shortly. So if you guys have any updates or any info that I could use let me know thanks ~nate

Alrighty, for those who actually installed these, I have a quick question. I got mine in, and took them to the shop. My mechanic looked at them and was amazed, and then asked where the gears were... Toda hasn't released cam gears yet, so obviously I'm SOL till they do... What kind of problems/bumps were encountered while trying to tune these without camgears. He was afraid that with 13 mm lift ,they may cause more harm then good without the gears for a more indepth tuning session. Any advice or info would be much appreciated!

you'll be fine. They actually only lift 12.75mm with 13mm being the maximum (according to the shop manual). Mine are going on two months installed, zero problems.

As far as tuning, it seems the cams cause more mystery then they answer. They caused me to run 1 point richer, but I still made a couple hp, where I should've lost hp running richer. So they need something......

alas, cam gears would be nice..... and, apparently Toda thinks so as well https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=147346

it appears we will be getting adjustable cams. I wish they had these BEFORE I installed to cams, but whats a valvetrain teardown every now and again

HELP! All these post will make a person's head spin! I know there are many questions still unanswered about the V2 cams, but anybody been able to make dyno proven gains with the cams? I REALLY would like to buy the cams if they prove advantageous! Anybody?

I seem to be the odd one out here. Mine made about 10hp at the TOP end, and I'm running way too lean. I'm about to install a SARD fuel pressure regulator to compensate.
