Fuel does find its way to the engine oil on all IC and diesel engines. You can actually smell it on the dipstick and even better when you change your oil if the concentration is even low. It has a very distinctive smell. Most of the fuel is evaporated from extended driving periods at normal engine operating temps. But if you are a short tripper like me, it accumualtes over time and can degrade the viscosity and flashpoint of the oil. Car manufacturers recognize this and recommend shorter oil change intervals to counter this contaminant accumulation.

I'm not familiar with the Redline product. But if you use any concentrated fuel system cleaner follow the instructions carefully and don't assume more than recommended is better. There are some on the market that are such effective cleaners that they will actually atttack soft metals (Pb specifically). If you are in doubt as to whether your fuel system cleaning regimen is safe or not, start a used oil analysis program and look for Pb spikes specifically.
