We all know that the vortech kit for the S2000 is going to be CARB legal. A few people as well as myself have seen the instructions and noticed a warning on the cover saying "legal in CA for racing applications, not for use on highways" after seeing this I wondered what gives? Well after talking to brian at vortech today I found out that the kit will have a EO number in a matter of weeks. The reason they put that disclaimer is to cover was to cover thier butts because they released the kit before the CARB approval was complete. Brian also informed me that all their kits , even the one released before the CARB approval was completed will be street legal. If your kit does not have a EO number on it you can call them and get a EO sticker to put on your kit.
