Default VSA with /!\

Hello guys.
On my 06 dashboard I have a constant VSA off light with orange /!\.
ABS codes are 66-1 and 83-1
MIL code is a P0301.
Already checked the brake fluid level, ABS unit covered in a brake fluid mist mixed with a dust
What else I can check to determine what is going on?

Start with the CEL first.

The vsa and ! Lights will follow the CEL by default, as the engine operation affects VSA.

Thanks Billman, will deal with the engine misfire first. I was on a long drive - over 1000 miles, the engine code poped and disappeared but VSA was always on

This may be true in some cases but the way you have it worded makes it seem like the VSA and ! lights WILL follow the CEL.

That is not always the case. If it's a DBW related CEL then yes, otherwise no. And P0301 looks like a misfire code so this shouldn't set the VSA or ! lights. Not to mention there are actual ABS codes being thrown. A standard CEL will not cause that to happen.

OP, I believe you are experiencing two unrelated issues.

Spend $120 and get a cheapo Honda HDS tool. That's what I did and now I can read all kind of module codes, reset them, reset all the learned stuff, adjust settings, cycle solenoids, all kinds of stuff. Too much to list.

I have read on the forum that even a low engine oil level can set a VSA light. Who knows if it related or not. Have to diagnose the whole system.
Do you know the seller of a Honda HDS tool on eBay I can trust?

Update;
Did the oil change(T6 Rotella),
level on the middle of the top X(T6 Rotella)
Adjusted the valve gaps
All spark plugs where changed(OE)
swapped the 1 and 2 ignition coils.
Code 0301 was cleared with scanner
Drove it for ten minutes and 0301 popped again.
Injector or problem is buried somewhere else? Billman?
