I'll just note that I just got these for the first time a few weeks ago but didn't have the brake light only the VSA and VSA activation indicator. I thought this was weird but finally one morning I caught the brake light on for literally a second or two. The fluid was just low enough to turn the brake indicator on for a few seconds at a weird angle. So it doesn't need to stay on. To set off the other two lights Anyways brake fluid topped off fixed it for me too!

Fiddy you have low fluid my prelude did the same thing.

as your pads wear the amount of fluid needed in the master cylinder increases.

for the most part its only tripped in cold weather as the cold makes the fluid contract.

top off brake fluid and your good..it will only take a small amount

^^ Agreed...As fluid warms up it expands, in your case just enough to give you dashboard gremlins.

Thanks guys, your absolutely correct, checked the fluid yesterday, guess what?? Its LOW! LOL! So my next question is, considering I just purchased the car a month and a half ago, I have no idea what type of fluid the previous owner used, however I can tell you its not blue(Can you tell I have been reading up on what type of brake fluid to use. hahah! ). Is it ok to mix brake fluids or should I plan on replacing it all together?

Thanks for this link. I recently installed suspension and had no light. Did a track day this weekend, no problem. Car sat for a week, take it out for a spin and the lights are on! I checked all my pads, sensors, "glanced" at the master cylinder and basically threw up my hands and thought, oh well, I never use VSA anyway. Then I found this thread.... and low and behold, my "glance" was stupid, the cylinder is low on brake fluid. I just filled it up and I will check on it tomorrow. Yup, I have to be more diligent on my car inspections, have gotten complacent. Thanks for the solution!!!
