So you did check the brake fluid, right?

Yes. This had nothing to do with brake fluid.

Took it to my buddy at the dealer on my lunch break and all is now well. He was able to reset the (!) light, and the car is no longer throwing any codes. Nice to have ABS back.

How much was the sensor and do you have a part number or where you got it?
