Default VSA troubles

First off this is my first post on s2ki so please be patient with me, new to the whole forum thing.

Now to the issue; I bought a k&n fipk for my07 ap2 and installed it this Saturday with a buddy of mine. After installation the check engine light and vsa light came on. My cel is due to the ats not being installed yet (have to drill a hole that I haven't had the chance to do) but the vsa light refuses to turn off. I talked to my dad, whose a mechanic, and he told me it'll go away after 30 miles or so. Well I've driven it for over 50 now and the vsa light is still on. Any idea how this can be fixed? I read that it could be the brake fluid level and such but that's not the case here.

Thanks in advance.

First of all welcome to the forums. One of my friend had the same problem and it turned out that the sensor (Pictured below) was loose. Check if its properly connected.

Sorry for the late reply, been a little busy with school, but I took a look at the sensor and it was perfectly in place. I checked all wires going to and from that sensor and everything is perfect. Any idea what else I could do to fix this issue? I've never driven with vsa off and I'm scared to drive it as hard as I used to.

Is the sensor backwards? What's the cel code? Is it solid or blinking? The cel could cause the vsa to go on. Pull the p codes and let me know. Pm if you would like I may not see this thread
