Engine warning light
Driving home the other day pulled out of the Shell station having just topped up with Vpower before getting on the M5 for the journey home and the engine management warning light came on
.
I know the Honda dealer was just round the corner (literaly) so pulled in there to get it checked out.
After an hour or so they diagnosed the fault code as P2A00 - A/F Sensor S1 Circuit Range/Performance.
New A/F Sensor 1 required at cost of £236.40
The technician reset the warning light and I drove the 130 miles home with no recurrence. However when I set out early Tuesday for the return trip the warning light came back 3 miles into the journey.
I've searched the forum and there are no references to an A/F Sensor. There is on reference to the fault code but not enough detail for me to know if I've got the same issue or if the dealers recommendations are correct or in my best interests.
Any advice on how to proceed would be welcome.

i had a management light come on the other week and took it into honda, it turned out to be to o2 sensor on the cat, i dont know if this is the same thing?! mine was covered under warranty otherwise would ahve cost me £200 ish. They also reprogrammed/reflashed my ecu to turn off the heater on the o2 sensor or something. Have a search for my post about it, it was titled "engine management light.....help pics" or something similair to that. He said it was down to mositure getting on the sensor and then heating it up causing it to fail
