Default vtec controller wiring need help

So i'm wiring up my vtec controller. I have the helms manual and directions but im unsure what to do with one wire. I need an RPM input and i dont know if i should go from the CKP in or engine speed manitor(pin 11 plug b if i recall correctly) it needs a low voltage signal as far as i know CKP is gonna be up to 5 volts. Basically directions are vague. Anyone know what the tach gets signal from or what did u use on your contoller. thanks!!!

I have a CamFC made by gizzmo and it says this, "On VTEC's this wire mus be connected to the oil pressure switch wire that returns to the ECU." is pin C10 correct? VTM Vtec oil pressure switch signal?

so everything works except now i can only run one tach or the other. the stock tach doesnt work when the tach wire is hooked up and when disconnected it does. i dont get it. Not enough juice to run both consecutively?

well both work. just not at the same time and all my wires are in correct locations. The thing i found weird is the only time i could get signal out of both although the controller was in acurate is when i held the two leads apart but they were able to get signal through my finger. The stock wires were sauterd together.
