VTEC Issues

I agree with you "It is a simple question" The answer is that it's not engaging, and that is why I posted this thread.
You say that if I can go to the red line VTEC is engaging. Well I can go to the red line, but, the distinct pull I used to feel when it engaged in the past is gone.
I thought that the whole purpose of VTEC was to give you that distinct added power.

Well, if you redline in 1st and 2nd gear and VTEC is engaged, you would feel it more. If you redline in 3rd or 4th, that feeling is lessen. The higher the gear the less VTEC feel.

I have a feeling that your vtec is engaging normal. its just that you are not noticing the transition as much so you think that you're not getting that "distinct added power"
