i want to ask is the vtec locking pins for the F20 interchangable with other vtec engines from other series(K-Series etc)?

it would be the small pin that engages vtec, are they the same?

i can't locate one easily for the F-Series

Im in the same boat need to find a set (one long and one short)as well.

 

if anyone can help with measuring the F-Series pins diameter and depth that would be helpful and (if possible) specify thr material of the pins

it will help when comparing between other locking pins to determane if possible to swap

I used a cheap caliper but these are what I got.
Short Pin: diameter 8.99mm length 14.77mm (Solid)
Long Pin: diameter 8.99mm Length 24.49mm (hollow)

Very hard metal looks pretty scratch and dent resistant but not sure what it is.

 

I have a civic guy around the corner with boxes of parts from many different civic engines. If the parts match, I can send you guys some pins.

I'll post measurements as well.

I've compared the F20 and K20 pins and they are different lengths. I've used the F pins in a K motor to lock the rockers into the VTEC position while dialling in the cam phasing.
