Watch your temperature gauge. When you have at least 3 bars, although I would recommend 5 bars, try going into VTEC. It should switch over just fine.

To me it just sounds like a cold engine.

I forgot about the AP1 dash. It's been a few years since I sold my AP1.

5 bars on a AP1 is overheating, badly.

Be nice to your car and let it warm up before going WOT
