Default VTEC Oil Pressure Switch Pigtail

Anyone have a good source or part number for the connector/pigtail for the oil switch on the VTEC solenoid? Wires broke off right at the connector on mine and while I started to just try to take the connector apart and try to re-pin it, given its age and brittleness I figure it will break further when I attempt it. So would be nice to just put on a new one. I keep finding ones out there for most other hondas on the market but they do not mention the S2000 so not sure how similar they are.

For now, there is a solid wire pressed into these from the back, soldered to the harness wires lol. That fixed it for the time being at least but would like to fix it correctly.

I have a feeling another Honda connector will work, but wanting to be sure. The part number for the pressure switch appears to be exclusive for the s2000 but the connectors on most look the same so if I can find one from another car that works that would be fine by me!

A good parts guy at a dealership might be able to tell you the answer to that question. I have 2 local dealerships and one guy is a gold mine of information. The other team is so so.

So a buddies shop uses Findpigtails for this type of stuff. And they were super responsive. But for reference, that one connector lists for $106 and they sell it for $79. I know deep down that another honda would likely would work and most are like $10.... so may do some more digging lol. For $80 I would rather solder the damned wires to the switch, add another inline connector and heat shrink it lol!

I just chopped mine off and popped a Superseal on it for the VTEC (or do you mean the brown sensor?). Have to say the quality of the engine looms on these is ropey at best, expect better from Honda!

Its the brown oil pressure switch (2 wire connector) that failed on mine. The fact that when the oil pressure switch fails it typically leaks oil into that connector and harness does not help, along with the heat it is all exposed to. Since I may go another route I may make another attempt at de-pinning the existing one since if it breaks it breaks at this point!

I am not 100% certain if the Karcepts tune even pays attention to that switch (some tunes I believe ignore it but have not asked him about it yet) but would at least like the wiring to be solid and in place as it should be either way.

As an update, I was able to depin the original and rewire it (Even had some brown and blue wire from another automotive pigtail I hoarded lol). It was being stubborn at first so was trying to see if I could find the replacement before forcing it, but it did pop apart as it was supposed to and I was able to dis-assemble it, connect new wires to the pins, re-assemble, and then solder the new wires back to the harness. Shrink wrapped and tesa taped and good as new!

The way the oil, from when the original switch failed, and the heat had affected it I was certain it would break apart when I tried de-pinning it but surprisingly it did not.
