I bought my car used from the original owner with 13k miles on it, about 2 years ago, i just recently hit 33k miles. It's an 00'. i don't know if my Vtec is kicking in as hard as it should or if I'm just used to the car now. I changed my spark plugs this weekend, looked as if the car is running a little lean, the electrode was worn down. and the tip was somewhat whitish. I actually have two questions, the first is the motor starting to loose its umph! or am i just getting used to the car. my time for some mods. And the second question is if the car is running lean, how do i correct it, can i adjust the fuel pressure on the stock regulator or do i need to do something else. sorry for having a run on thread, just worried bout my baby. although it maybe nothing.

 

I read about this somewhere.. From what I recall you should check your airfilter and replace if it is worn and then reset the ECU. Try to search it out I seen this happen more then once.

Well, maybe a stupid suggestion, but often overlooked nonetheless.. have you checked your oil level?
