VTEC solenoid valve assembly damage Halp!

Default VTEC solenoid valve assembly damage Halp!

Hey all,

Was doing my swap and the chain from the hoist ripped the plug on the solenoid, see attached images:





Looking for some help on how to fix this (very new to honda)any input would be appreciated.

You can buy a new sensor from the dealer. Its around $50.

Thanks what about the wire harness, the clip is smashed am I going to need another whole harness bc of that ?

Pm me.... I can cut you off part of my extra wire harness , then you can just cut and rewire it back in. I also have and extra sensor. Shoot me a price. FYI you would have to buy a whole new wire harness

If you get a new connector end used for your harness, you can do it without cutting as long as the female pins are good.

Use an eyeglass screwdriver to extract the pins, and plug them into the new connector. This way you have a factory perfect repair with no cutting.
