Vtec trouble
my S2000 is a 2001 and has 2900 miles, Vtec engagement in 2nd gear does not pull as hard as it used to, although when engaged in first gear it pulls just as hard if not harder than right after the 600 mile break in, redline 1st shift to second it pulls very hard no problems at all, the problem is lets say i shift to second at 3,000 rpms - floor the gas, when i hit 6,000 rpms in 2nd vtec is engaging but its not pulling as hard as it would be when i'm in first gear or right after the break in it pulled very hard, i dunno this is really weird.
I did a search and i think that it could be four things-
1. oil (i'm pretty sure its not i topped it off yesterday with Honda Motor Oil 10W-30 didn't make any difference at all, i don't plan on getting the first oil change until i hit 5,000 miles)
2. bad fuel ( i use sunoco ultra 94, pretty sure this isn't a factor)
3. ECU
4. Map Sensor
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
