The filters that Fram makes for Honda are made to Honda's specifications. The standard Fram filter has cardboard endcaps and a plastic bypass valve. I'll hold off on my opinions of this design.

Honda filters made by fram have metal endcaps and a sturdy metal spring bypass valve. They also have a silicone Anti-drainback valve (not the nitrile one used on the standard Fram). There are plenty of people that have cut open these filters and taken pictures of the difference, and you'll find these pictures on various websites.
