Warm Up Problems

No point to changing the coolant right now. The coolant has nothing to do with this issue as long as you have enough of it in the radiator.

If you have to change the 'stat then you'll just have to drain it again.

Did you look in the cold radiator with the engine running? There's alot of trouble-shooting you can do without taking anything apart.

Dear S2000 Driver,

Please do not work my engine hard as soon as 3 bars are indicated on the temperature guage. Even though the engine management system will allow VTEC, my engine is still not warmed up properly. Please wait a full 5 minutes of light to moderate driving before putting the hammer down. Thanks!
