Thumbs up water in headlight

whats up fellow s2k'ers im hoping i can get some help with this ..i had some condensation in my left headlight so today i removed it planning on trying to fix the problem i dried all the water in there and resealed it, everything was looking good but as i started putting everything back i notice the hid and signal light werent working signal light only works when i turn on the signal to make a left ..i dont have any idea what it could be i checked fuses, bulbs and they look fine i dont know if maybe as i was moving it around while drying it water got in the wrong place and messed up the headlight ...so if any one has any advice or ideas of how i can fix this or what may be the problem before i go get ripped off somewhere to find the problem it would be verry helpfull...

Try swapping bulbs left to right to see if that's the problem. Double check your connections, too.

definitely swap the bulbs side to side to check them first.

i'm confused about the signal light. you said it only works when you turn on the signal to make a left...when else would it be on? did you try hazard?

when you reseal the headlight, you have to make sure you put a LOT of silicone sealant, especially if it runs at all, and make sure you don't leave any gaps in the coverage, even tiny ones. best to go over the whole thing once, then go back over it a second time making sure you stop/start again in different spots so as not to leave any gaps.

when this water situation happened to me, the water traveled down the HID ignitor wire past the grommet and started flooding the ballast. I'd pull the ballast to check if there's any water in it. Usually after it shorts you will have a burning smell where the connector is. Good luck!
