Default Weird Buzz

I can't for the life of me figure out what this buzzing sound is. It only happens between 3.5-4K rpm during acceleration, then goes away after 4k. It's def not a clutch buzz, i heard those many times. It started today, after driving around for an hour or so. From the sound of it, it either behind the dash.

just want to bring this to the top. I notice a strange noise coming from the driver side (from what it sounds like) when accelerating between 3.5k to 4k. Only in that range. It doesn't happen all the time either.

what is there on the driver side engine bay that can be loose? Any suggestion or info is much appreciated. Thanks.

Another person just had this: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/947...e-at-4500-rpm/

Hasn't posted about finding a solution, but like I told him, my money is on the exhaust (heat shield, catalyst inside the cat converter, loose nuts, etc.

I have the same issue, but it's an issue with my skunk2 exhaust. Just rev the car from the throttle body and listen for the noise. I did that and found the sound to be coming from under the car, at which point I used a hockey stick to rev the engine as I laid on the ground. It sound like it was coming from the exhaust so I pinpointed it by smacking the exhaust with a rubber mallet.

Hope you find your issue

Im having the exact same problem, my mechanic is convinced its the catalytic converter, so i picked up a used one, see if it does anything.

it sounds like it coming from the front lower driver side dash. Can the clutch fork vibrate at a particular RPM? I did notice that the clutch fork makes some noise when I was lubing the slave cylinder and the clutch fork.

Clutch was changed over a year ago and the car has about 25k miles on the clutch. Current mileage is 80k. I didn't replace the clutch fork when I did the clutch.
