OK. Took it to Honda and the only thing he could figure out was 2 bottom motor mounts were torn. Took the car back to the body shop and they found out that the noise is coming from behind the firewall. Now they are taking the car apart to see what it could be. I will find out on Monday.

You happen to loose your oil cap? it has a habit of ending up between the transmission tunnel and the firewall also...

When I got an oil change done at NTB last year, I noticed later during the day that they had forgot to put the oil cap back on. I went to Autozone and just bought a new one. Could that oil cap had been stuck in there for a while, and now stuck between the transmission tunnel and firewall after the accident? Any picture of what that area looks like? So I can check with a flash light. Thanks.

A few things:
  • Cat?
  • Exhuast mount?
  • Trans mounts?
  • Loose DOHC VTEC Cover? (Mine did this - Sounded similar, forgot to put the bolts in)
  • Check driveshaft bolts if they're loose? (Happened recent, also sounded like this)

I would go looking then. I dont have pics and not sure you can even see it. Try a search for oil cap or something. It has happened to others and there have been posts.
